Terms of Service
Last updated: July 6, 2026
1. Who we are
Scrollbound is operated by an individual sole trader based in Australia ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Scrollbound (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms.
2. What Scrollbound is
Scrollbound is a web-based companion app for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, providing digital character sheets, campaign organization tools, and Dungeon Master utilities. It is an unofficial fan tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.
3. Accounts
You're responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your account credentials and any character PINs secure. You must be old enough to lawfully agree to these Terms in your jurisdiction, or have a parent/guardian's consent.
4. Subscriptions & payment
Paid tiers ("Loremaster", "Archon") are billed monthly in advance in AUD and renew automatically until cancelled. The "3-Year Archon Access" is a one-time payment that grants Archon-tier access for three years from the date of purchase, with no recurring charge.
You can cancel a subscription or view your billing history at any time from within the app. Cancelling stops future renewals; you retain access to paid features until the end of the billing period you've already paid for.
Prices, tiers, and included features may change from time to time. We'll give you reasonable notice before any change takes effect for an active subscription.
5. Refunds
See our Refund Policy for details.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Scrollbound to break the law, harass other users, attempt to disrupt the Service, or reverse-engineer or resell access to it. We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the Service.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the character data, homebrew content, and campaign material you create. You give us a limited licence to store, back up, and display that content back to you and to other players/DMs you choose to share it with, solely to operate the Service.
8. Availability & liability
Scrollbound is provided "as is." We aim for high availability but don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits any guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Continuing to use Scrollbound after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
