1. What we collect

Account information: your email address and basic profile details, handled via our authentication provider (Clerk).

Character & campaign data: character sheets, stats, homebrew content, dice rolls, and campaign notes you create in the app.

Billing information: if you subscribe to a paid tier, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details — Stripe handles that directly.

Basic usage data: standard technical logs (like request timestamps and error reports) used to keep the Service running and to fix bugs.

2. How we use it

To provide and operate the Service (saving your characters, syncing live sessions between players and DMs), to process payments and manage subscriptions, to respond to support requests, and to fix bugs and improve the app. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers needed to run Scrollbound: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payment processing), and our hosting/infrastructure provider. Character and campaign data is also visible to other players/DMs in the same party, as the app's core functionality requires.

4. Data retention

We keep your account and character data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@scrollbound.app.

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time. Contact support@scrollbound.app for any privacy request.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, hosted authentication, PCI-compliant payment processing via Stripe) to protect your data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
